A new creative partnership between the brand and the magazine speaks to the importance of serenity
City life can be stressful: work, traffic, noise. Sometimes, what’s needed is a place to catch your breath, to leave the clamour of the metropolis behind. In his collaborative editorial between C41 magazine and Parajumpers, a group of friends does just this. In the imposing beauty of the Italian mountains, they search for tranquillity, spontaneity, joy.
Think garments highlighted in this partnership speak to this ethos: minimal lines, practical fabrics and pieces made for freedom.
This means an emphasis on laid-back resilience: the strong and durable Cordura ripstop of our Cloud and Shyna down puffers, for example, both finished with a water-repellent coating. The result is jackets built for the wilderness, completely at ease with nature.
Similarly, the rugged elegance of the mountains is reflected in Shyna, a slouchy bomber jacket crafted from recycled nylon oxford. Its critically taped seams and water-resistant coating lend a sense of quiet confidence; at ease no matter the conditions.
Earthy tones and natural materials are also highlighted in the editorial, creating a sense of oneness with the great outdoors – more than jackets, these are refuges.
