Parajumpers, the Italian luxury outerwear brand, is looking for experienced Retail Sales Associates to be team members at its first global retail store in SoHo, NYC. Sales Associates will be brand ambassadors, inspiring our consumers, and driving the sales for the Parajumpers Brand in New York. You will be responsible for achieving sales and clienteling targets in the Store.
Responsibilities
● Drives sales and growth by personally engaging with, and selling to, customers
● Achieving sales results and growing the business through action and productivity
● Displays expert product knowledge and takes initiative where needed
● Participates in sales goal setting with manager and tracks individual performance towards the goal
● Delivers a friendly and efficient customer experience
● Creating customer awareness (i.e., data capture) to build customer loyalty, when applicable
● Taking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell
● Understanding and adhering to visual merchandising brand standards
● Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues
● Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention
● Understanding and demonstrating Company values
Qualifications
● +2 years sales associate experience in a similar retail business with proven track record in achieving sales targets
● Enthusiasm for outerwear and outdoor lifestyles, including awareness of retail and communication trends within the local market and larger apparel industry
● Entrepreneurial spirit and solutions-oriented creativity with customer focus
● Existing network and client base in the local area is an advantage
● Excellent communication skills, particularly in a team environment
