BIOPHILIA

A brand new collection from Parajumpers takes inspiration from the tranquil beauty of the natural landscape

Two explorers. One spring day. Light filters through a canopy of ancient trees, illuminating the floor below in a shower of gold. The only sounds are the birds hidden in the branches, the breeze that softly ripples through the leaves. A paean to the serene beauty of the natural world: this is the BIOPHILIA collection.
Following the sun as it rises and sets, for our adventurers each day is a story told anew. They exist in communion with nature, part of an age-old shared narrative. In this collection, vivid shades of green, pink and purple take inspiration from the woodland undergrowth, from wild grasses and blooming foliage. We see an emphasis on comfort, both in nature and in your own skin, with pieces perfect for trans-seasonal layering.
For men, this means easy, throw-on pieces such as Novak, Breeze Shield series. Made from garment-dyed nylon poplin, it’s the perfect layer to sling over a T-shirt on breezy days. And for days spent lingering in the warmth of the spring sunshine, find light-weight cover-ups like our garment-washed Flame, crafted from recycled mini-ripstop, or our soft-shell Miles jacket, ideal paired with our micro-ottoman Mitch shorts.
Hybrid pieces, like our must-have Elliot jacket, make transitional dressing feel effortless. A combination of recycled, water-repellent taffeta with stretch cotton fleece, this interplay of fabrics offers a fresh take on the classic puffer.
These pieces exist in harmony with the natural world, seen in the plant-based, memory-effect Solotex fibres of Gobi Spring and the recycled taffeta of jackets like Ugo. And the garment-dyeing process used for the pieces like Wilfred, from the Reloaded Superlight series, adds an organic, earthy intensity – a depth that emphasises the sculptural qualities of its ultra-light down fill.
For women, think uninhibited femininity. For changeable weather, versatile hybrids such as Caelie marry demi-shine taffeta with sumptuously soft stretch cotton, while ultra-lightweight pieces like Rica use poplin to create a breezy, oversized silhouette. And for spring showers, reach for Dulcie, an elegant jacket with an adjustable waist, triple-layer fabric and water-repellent treatment.
Part of our Masterpiece series, Gobi Spring is made from breathable, vegan Solotex fibres and is featured here in Antique Rose, a rich, natural pink. This symbiotic connection with the natural landscape continues with the 100% recycled matte taffeta of the Winona and Irene jackets, filled with lightweight duck down and available in dusky, berry-coloured shades. It’s also apparent in the verdant Sage shade of our water-repellent, down-filled Ayame jacket, crafted from a luxurious demi-gloss taffeta.
This is a place of wonder, of contemplation, utterly alive but untouched by humanity. This is BIOPHILIA.
