Homer’s Odyssey is retold in Parajumpers’ tale of one sailor’s epic journey Epic, from epos: ‘word’, ‘story’ or ‘song’. A narrative, an unending journey towards meaning; a plunge into the world, into oneself, as one plunges into clear blue seas. This tale of adventure is also a tale of community through isolation, of humanity through divinity; an adventure that must be undertaken alone but yearns to be shared. In this story, Parajumpers follows a modern-day Odysseus and his boat, Frida, on a quest that raises questions as it resists answers.
